this week’s quiet is different from last week’s/ like a hole in the heart yet not quite/ we get extra sleep/ but thoughts wide awake/ we can chose our own playlist/ but can’t hear through the static/ but must keep on keeping on/ what ain’t heard/ is there in the air/ what ain’t seen/ is up in the sky/ storms may be brewing/ another battle just beginning/ shabba shield up/ armor on/ ready for whatever/ however daunting/must carry on/
