*** last weekend my siblings and i had the good fortune of watching a couple of shows at the Philippine Fashion Week holiday 2010 collection... super thank you to a fave doll, S and a cousin... next season ulit? shabba! :)

some kinda summer stroke

Summer has melted much of me… was tempted to say dried me up but that ain’t so… I still have some juices trickling when I need them to… even if, sometimes, I have to squeeze really hard to get them. Every summer, (mostly April and May) there always seem to be something that surprises… something that usually affects the rest of the year… I only noticed this since 2007 in retrospect to 2006… I have forgotten the summers before that… Maybe I wasn’t paying attention…maybe I’m not meant to remember…I have a tendency to forget sometimes… I have to check on all my journals to be sure…

The thinker in me wants clarity… but to have that I really have to retrace and I have been retracing… only I kept being directed somewhere else… The heat is not helping me think at all… I’ll just go paint clouds or maybe sketch trees… And perhaps, maybe… just maybe… next summer there would be a different story to remember.

It is Enthusiasm that reaffirms to us that everything is possible, as long as we are totally committed to what we are doing. And in order for this to be possible…

Lord, protect us, because Life is the only way we have of making manifest Your miracle. May the earth continue to transform seeds into wheat, may we continue to transmute wheat into bread. And this is only possible if we have Love; therefore, do not leave us in solitude. Always give us Your company, and the company of men and women who have doubts, who act and dream and feel enthusiasm, and who live each day as if it were totally dedicated to Your glory. Amen.
