my eyes
no longer see as much
a lot had come to cloud my view
my ears
jarred by silence
and noise far too deafening
the world had seeped in
blocking my senses
holding me down
stalling progress
but it seems
my old enemy forgot
that when you are down
you can most definitely look up...
